A mission born out of compassion, fueled by community.
We began back in 2003. Founders Linda Miller and her daughter Jaclyn Miller were unexpectedly ambushed by a stray cat who was desperate for help. Unable to turn their backs, they took the kitty in, unaware that this single act of kindness would spark a lifelong mission.
What started as a quiet effort to help one stray quickly blossomed into a dedicated rescue operation to save the vulnerable cats of the Greater Saint John Area.
Today, Linda and Jaclyn are still at the helm, continuing their incredible work alongside the amazing team at Global Pet Foods. However, they don't do it alone.
We are backed by a dedicated network of volunteers who are a critical part of our operations. From fostering cats and managing vet appointments, to keeping the gears turning behind the scenes, we could not save lives without our volunteers.

Linda's compassion started it all. Her ability to connect with even the most fearful strays and her vision for a better community for feral cats is the foundation upon which Latimore Lake Cat Group is built.
